Node.js LATEST (24.10.0) missing `darwin` files

https://nodejs.org/dist/latest/ contains files for Node.js 24.10.0

The following expected darwin files are however missing:

• https://nodejs.org/download/release/v24.10.0/node-v24.10.0-darwin-x64.tar.gz
• https://nodejs.org/download/release/v24.10.0/node-v24.10.0-darwin-arm64.tar.gz

And another build question would be how it happened that the release went out in the absence of critical artifacts? Should we file another bug for this?

Due to the nature of the issue, i would support reverting the release and pointing latest to the previous full release.

The tooling requires user interaction to proceed with promoting the release. It warns on missing artifacts, so unfortunately this was human error (there was acknowledgement that the tooling did indeed warn that those artifacts were missing).

Would it be too much trouble to just manually compile the missing darwin versions for now and sort-out the pipeline issues later?

Yes, because nodejs/build#4173 is blocking the compilation (we don't have an appropriate machine).

These are effectively just leading to aliases of the same release content. See README > Current and LTS releases.
