Hi there! Sorry to hear your content was scraped. GitHub is actually very efficient with DMCA takedowns, but they do not process them via standard support emails. They require a formal notice that follows the DMCA requirements. Here is the correct way to handle this:
Note: Once you submit the form, GitHub will usually notify the other party and then disable the repository. Be aware that DMCA notices are usually published in a public repository (github/dmca) for transparency. |

How to Submit Your DMCA Complaint Email alternative: Send your complaint to copyright@github.com. Include a plain-text version of your notice in the email body, not just as an attachment . What your complaint must include : Statement: "I have read and understand GitHub's Guide to Filing a DMCA Notice." Your copyrighted work: Identify the original content that was copied (provide URLs or descriptions). Infringing material: Provide the exact URL(s) of the GitHub repository or files hosting your copied content . Forks: If the repository has been forked, you must identify each fork you believe is infringing, as GitHub does not automatically disable forks . Your contact info: Name, address, phone number, and email. Good faith statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials... is not authorized by the copyright owner..." Perjury statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner..." Your signature: Physical or electronic signature. ✅ Before You Submit Be accurate and truthful: DMCA requires you to swear to the facts under penalty of perjury. Submitting false information can lead to legal liability . Your complaint will be published: After redacting personal information, GitHub publishes all complete DMCA notices at https://github.com/github/dmca |

Hello everyone,
I need help with a GitHub DMCA issue.
One website has copied the entire content from our website. The copied website is hosted on GitHub. They are using our content without permission and appear to be doing fraudulent activity.
I tried contacting GitHub through email, but the message was automatically rejected by their bot. Because of this, I was not able to reach their support team.
I would like to know how I can properly contact GitHub and submit a DMCA complaint so this website can be taken down as soon as possible.
If anyone has experience with reporting copyright violations or filing a DMCA request on GitHub, please guide me on the correct process.
Any help from the community
